Chase bank wont take my Deposit??

Chase complaint

Years ago I had major problems with Bank One and ended up leaving them on very bad terms. I wasn't sure if there have been any improvements with the bank now that it has become Chase, but to my great disappointment I am once again displeased with this bank.

They told me I cannot direct deposit a portion of my paycheck into my husband’s account without being added as an account holder!

I have previously been able to direct deposit funds into a LaSalle Bank account which I am not an account holder of, and the payroll company (Paychex) has a signature line on the direct deposit form which is to be signed if the account you are depositing to belongs to someone else.

I called National City to ask if this could be done, and they said absolutely! Looks like I'll be banking with them instead.

What kind of bank won't take a deposit? A terrible bank like Chase, that’s who! I urge anyone who reads this: DO NOT BANK WITH CHASE! If you are with Chase, then move elsewhere and save yourself from their ignorance.

Chase is the 2nd largest bank for a reason. It's actually to protect YOUR money. They wont take it as a direct deposit because it could cause some sever problems. It you got divorced and your spouse kept taking your money it could hurt you and him. Now say that divorce or death would ever happen you just need to be cautious where you put your money where you personally don't have access...say your husband gets killed tomorrow it may take weeks before you can get your needed money. Those other banks are taking a risk by this and are not protecting your best interests. I'd suggest if you don't want a account get a paper check.
